Adult Education 4.0

Adult Education 4.0

Our „Adult 4.0“ project aims to address challenges posed by accelerated digitalization, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, to educational and supporting staff in adult education. The digital transformation requires professionals in this field to possess specific competencies, including digital methodology, communication, technical-administrative skills, data protection, and digital source handling. We are conducting this specific project in collaboration with two educational and vocational training organisations, COM2 srl from Italy and Universal Education from Greece.
The project focuses on three key themes: integrating Artificial Intelligence in education, enhancing digital literacy and protection, and fostering the ability to collaborate and problem-solve using digital tools. By improving the digital readiness and competences of adult education staff, the project seeks to create resilient and agile learning centres capable of meeting evolving societal needs. The project’s efforts are geared towards enhancing adult education opportunities through sustainable upskilling and cooperation among institutions.
