PowerPivot: Datenanalyse & Visualisierung

Power Pivot is a great tool within Microsoft Excel to model, analyze & visualize a large amount of data from different sources. This course isan introduction to the purpose & usage of Power Pivot. This includes modeling data and its relationships as well as implementing a data model.Get & transform is used to connect to data sources & transform data before it is loaded into the data model. Adding calculated columns and measures using DAX functions will be discussed. Following the creation of Pivot Tables & Charts from the data model, a dashboard using slicers & timelines will be designed to visualize the data in a dynamic way. Finally, the Pivot Tables are converted to formulas to create flexible reports that make use of the data model.

The audience of this training are Microsoft Excel users who do extensive data analysis and experience the limitations and boundaries of the regular usage of Microsoft Excel. This course is also a preparation for the role-based training “Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI”(DA-100) including the Microsoft certification “Data AnalystAssociate”and addresses individuals who have little practical experience with BI Reporting and the analysis & visualization of data.
